What can SchedLeech do ?

Standing at a little over 100 KB, SchedLeech is a small utility designed to automate the process of downloading internet files; it does this using a robust and intuitive interface with quite straightforward controls.

Using SchedLeech is simple enough; input the URL and referrer fields, select one of multiple agents available (SchedLeech, multiple browser versions of Opera, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari). Specify the interval of time (in minutes), number of retries when an error is encountered and delay until retry. Pinpoint to the directory you want to files to be downloaded at. With SchedLeech you can easily either make a unique file name or overwrite each time the application grabs a new file. In terms of file name, users get a choice of multiple built in presets, complete with name, date and time values. However it's the schedule functionality that makes SchedLeech a very cool tool; specify recurrence details and SchedLeech will do all the hard work for you.

The utility may be set to start at Windows boot. Note that on the bottom panel users get a comprehensive overview of the actions performed: shows downloads, schedules starting or stopped and much more.

SchedLeech requires no installation whatsoever; it only requires you to extract the contents of the archive and run the executable.
