SUBMaker is a smart, easy to use application created to assist users in creating subtitles in the MicroDVD format (*.SUB); simply load a movie, press the Start and Stop Frame and write the spoken pieces of text.

Have you ever looked for a movie subtitle and were not able to find it anywhere online ? Or perhaps you are speaking the language of the film and want to share the subtitle to the community by creating it yourself. Scenarios where subtitles are needed are many and here is one little tool among those.
SUBMaker is a lite, easy to use software solution that allows you to create MicroDVD subtitles or more familiarily, *.sub files.
While writing subtitles may take some time, learning to use SUBMaker will not. The application is straightforward to use, all you have to do is open your movie file. SUBMaker supports the input of avi, mpg, mpeg, wmv movie files. Start the frame and stop it to write down the approapriate piece of text. Two lines are provided for this purpose. Saving the lines will trigger them to appear on the right side panel under the given time frame.
When you have completed with the editing, simply proceed to saving the subtitle. Playback the video again along with the subtitle and check your work. Note that the subtitle file will be saved in the same disk location as your movie file.
SUBMaker requires very little in terms of hardware and is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7 systems.
SUBMaker is simple to use, effective and should please anyone looking for a means for creating subtitles.
