In the late 1980, Francesco Cirillo developed a time management method that he called the "Pomodoro Technique". Basically, you have to divide your work time into 25 minutes chunks that the author called "pomodori" (Italian word for tomatoes). Those "pomodori" are separated by short 5 minutes breaks, while at every four 25 minutes intervals a longer break (15 to 20 minutes) is required. Tomighty is designed to help you apply this method.

Tomighty is a tool that can be very easily installed on your computer, that has a user friendly interface, easy to operate even by beginners and that won't affect workflow because it resides (by default) in the system tray.
Tomighty is incredibly easy to use. All you have to do is click on the tray icon and then press the "Start Pomodoro" button. This small and intuitive tool will then automatically start the countdown and hide itself back in the system tray. You will only be aware of its presence when it alerts you that its time to take a break.
Using the settings provided by Tomighty you will be able to insert your own time intervals according to your personal tasks, you will have the option to customize its interface by selecting between four different themes (skins), you can choose what sounds it should use and you will also be able to make the application's window to stay visible at all times.
