The simplest games are often also the most addictive. Since the growth in popularity of Android-based devices, these simple game started being discovered and appreciated by more and more people. One of the best of these games is this one: Lines for Android. It's both simple, and yet challenging and addictive.
Lines for Android is based on the classical "Lines" game. It makes this older yet funny game playable on your Android-based device.
For those not familiar with this game, the objective is to move blocks from cell to cell to form lines (vertical, horizontal or diagonal). When a line contains at least 5 blocks, these blocks are removed from the board and you receive points which are added to your current score. The score depends on the amount of removed blocks. In each step when you cannot build a line, 3 new blocks are dropped onto the board.
A cool extra feature of Lines for Android is that the high-scores may be saved and shared online.
Furthermore, "Undo movement" is also supported. Lines for Android maintains a history of the movements and allows you to roll back to a previous state of the game if a piece has been moved accidentally to a wrong place.
Shortcuts are also available, enabling you to easily and quickly access the frequently used commands. You may undo with the star key or create a new game with the pound key.
